Salmon with Creamy Dill + Dijon Sauce

An elevated twist on a classic baked salmon. Drizzled and baked with a creamy ghee, dill, dijon sauce this dish is savoury + nutritious in perfect harmony.

INGREDIENTS (serves 4)


4 salmon fillets skinless and boneless

Salt and Pepper to taste

Olive oil (amount needed to bake)

For the Sauce

1 cup cream

6 tbsp Golden ghee melted

4 garlic cloves minced

4 tbsp Dijon mustard

1/2 lemon juice

Salt & pepper

Fresh Dill

mashed potatoes and rocket to serve


METHOD

Time 20 minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

  2. Grease a baking dish with olive oil, place the salmon and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  3. Place all the sauce ingredients in bowl and stir until integrated and smooth and pour over the salmon. 

  4. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, or until fish is just cooked.

  5. Garnish with fresh dill, remove from oven and serve together with mashed potatoes and rocket or the side of choice.

  6. Pour over sauce, and enjoy.
